Grown just south of Ukiah on the Nelson Ranch in Mendocino County. Nestled in an upland side canyon, this 36 year old Riesling vineyard produces small yields of flavorful Riesling Grapes. Frozen grapes were pressed on December 15th, 2010 at 32 Brix and fermented slowly for two months, producing a nectar for the Gods.
Well balanced dessert wine with hints of peaches, pears and apricots. High acidity balances with the 21% residual sugar to give you an ice style wine, complete from beginning through the long, lingering finish.
Enjoy now through 2020
